We needed simpler and cheaper restaurant software. So we made it.
Villa Anvers is a 70-cover restaurant in Bidart, on the Basque coast. One service a night, set menu, same team every evening. We tried the big reservation platforms. They were built for restaurant groups and priced like it.
So we built verjus.io — the system we actually wanted to use. Online bookings, table management, guest profiles, reminders. Nothing we don't need, nothing that gets in the way during service.
We run Villa Anvers on it every night. That's kind of the whole point.
